It' s winter, it's February and it's carnival time. When you think about carnivals the first thing which comes to your mind is probably the Carnival of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, probably the biggest carnival in the world with its music, dancing and colourful costumes or perhaps the carnival of Venice with its impressive masks. But did you know there's another famous carnival in Europe which is not held in February? It's Notting Hill Carnival.

This term you have to read the book "The Swan and The Hitch-hiker" by Roald Dahl. Perhaps, at first,  you are not very familiar with this name, but if I tell you that he is the author of books like "Matilda" or "Charlie and the chocolate factory", you will probably know what I am talking about.
